KIRVEN, Ethel Jackson, 75, of Chesterfield County, Va. and formerly from Church Hill, departed this life on Thursday, March 5, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lucille Jackson; and brother, Esten Jackson. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Elijah Kirven; five sons, Howard, Larry (Jamet), Peter (Kimberly), Cornelius and Anthony (Cynthia) Jackson; 11 grandchildren; one sister, Ollie Cox; a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., where viewing will be held on Monday, March 9, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral service 11 a.m. on March 10, 2009 at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 1200 N. 28th St. Rev. Dr. Sylvester T. Smith officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
