Neil,

I am sorry to hear of Karen's passing.
I know the loss is hard to accept. I know God will be with you and your family at this difficult time. I also
lost my Son, Matt last year. He was only 23 years old. He had a heart condition that we were unaware of. The loss has left a void that will never be filled. I do know that God has brought me this far. He will carry you thru as well. I pray for you and your family. Take care.

Neil, It wasn't until reading Karen's obit that it became real.I can't imagine the pain of facing the future without my partner. Try to remember though that you are not alone. You are surrounded by family and friends who love you; let them help you. We helpers aren't good at that. At your loneliest remember GOD IS SURROUNDING YOU. Karen was one of the truest kindest souls I've ever encountered. What a blessing it was to have experienced her. It would be a blessing to assist you or your family in anyway possible in her honor. It goes without saying that you all are in our and our church family's prayers. You are well regarded at P'town Baptist

What the caterpillar calls the end, God calls a butterfly.

It’s hard to believe that I have known Karen for more than fifty years. My family moved to Princeton in 1958 and we lived in the same neighborhood on Oakvale Road. I can remember when Neil was a freshman at Concord and he would visit Karen’s house. We would play basketball in the driveway.

Even as a young lady it was apparent that Karen was filled with love, care and compassion. I can’t imagine anyone not becoming a better person just by being in her presence. She morphed from a caterpillar into a butterfly at a very young age and her beauty as a child of God withstood the test of time.

A butterfly lights beside us, like a sunbeam...

and for a brief moment it's glory
and beauty belong to our world...

but then it flies on again, and although we wish it could have stayed,

we are so thankful to have seen it at all.

Though I wish you could have stayed longer, I know that you have arrived at your destination. Rest peaceful butterfly.

To the Jackson Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Karen's passing. She was a very good nurse, and never had an unkind word to say to anyone. Years ago I was a patient on the bmc unit, and she took very good care of me when I was unable to care for myself. I will always remember her as a little guardian angel that God sent down to watch over me. Please know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Morning Sun
Light of Creation
Grassy fields
A velvet floor
Silver clouds
A shimmering curtain
He's designed a perfect world
I'm amazed at his talent
Stand in awe of one so great
Now my soul begins to sing out
To the source from which it came
Bless the Lord who reigns in beauty
Bless the Lord who reigns with wisdom and with power
Bless the Lord who fills my life with so much Love he can make a perfect heart.
