Ethelynd Elizabeth Bamford McCreight

McCREIGHT, Ethelynd Elizabeth Bamford, 87, of Richmond, passed away August 14, 2009 after a long battle with dementia. She was the widow of M. Hugh McCreight. She is survived by her devoted son, Hugh B. McCreight Sr. "Bamie" and his wife, Anne Chaddock McCreight; grandchildren, Hugh B. McCreight Jr. (Siewhiang), Lori E. Kreckman (Brian), R. Lawrence Hayes (Britt), Krista B. Crandell (Shane); one sister, Nelda B. Clark; one cousin, Kay M. Heppinstill; seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. McCreight was a longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church and a member of Areme Chapter #17 OES. A special thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Lynmoore. You are the best. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the West Chapel Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 West Broad St. A mausoleum service will be conducted on Monday, August 17, at 3 p.m. at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
