BAKER, Candice Ann, 61, of Bedford, Va., was called to eternal life on Friday, September 4, 2009. She was the widow of Bruce J. Baker; and was preceded in death by her parents, E. Oakley Sr. and Evelyn Drumheller. She is survived by her brother, E. Oakley Drumheller Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of Forest, Va.; her sister, Sue D. Perry and her husband, Dwight Myers Jr., of Powhatan, Va.; also one niece and three nephews. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at the Parham, Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., where her funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at Westhampton Memorial Park.

It has been a year now and i miss you so much.Igo and visit you all the time.you were a dear person and loved everyone so much.I know that the good Lord is enjoying your love and smile that you share with everyone.

So sorry to hear of Candy's passing. Please accept our sympathy. I worked with Evelyn many years ago at the Museum and will never forget Candy's practicing "beehive" hairstyling on her mother.

Still crazy after all these years, I will miss you Candy Baker.
