BECKER, Mina Schuchat, 95, of Richmond, widow of Herman E. Becker, and mother of the late Dr. Stanley H. Becker, died Tuesday, September 8, 2009. Mrs. Becker is survived by a son, Dr. Jerome D. Becker of Arlington and Richmond. Also surviving are her daughter-in-law, Melanie B. Becker; her grandchildren, Amy Becker and Dr. Seth Leibowitz, Millie Becker and Dr. Alan Schulman; and her great-grandchildren, Jordan and Taly Anne Leibowitz and Eli and Leo Schulman. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 10 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Beth-El cemetery (Forest Lawn) at the intersection of Alma Ave. and Oronoco Ave. Donations may be made to the Central Virginia Food Bank or Temple Beth-El.
