Letta Tacey Obituary

TACEY, Letta Mae, 82, affectionately known as "Granny," started her new eternal life September 7, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Marshall "Google" Tacey. She was an active member of Coles Point United Methodist Church, and all who knew and loved her will miss her fun loving ways and her readiness to "GO" attitude. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Ford and her husband, Rodney, Deborah Hansrote and her husband, Bernie; a sister, Linda Griffin and her husband, Jim. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Kimberly Ackerson and husband, Art, Adam Hansrote, Matthew Ford and Emily, Sarah Ford and Allen; adopted and extended family of Lenzie Garner; adopted grandson, Austin Barnes; her beloved chihuahua, Bella, and many nieces and nephews who will miss "Aunt Lemonado." A celebration of life will be held after the restoration of Coles Point United Methodist Church is complete. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Coles Point United Methodist Church Building Fund, c/o Brenda Bevans, 528 Coles Point Road, Hague, Va. 22469.
