Vernell Wyatt Bareford

BAREFORD, Vernell Wyatt, 94, of Richmond, went to be with her Lord on September 14, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Abram Bareford; and five brothers, John, Temple, Ernest, William and Wallace. She is survived by one niece, Dorine Watkins (Buck); two nephews, David Wyatt (Mary) and Kenneth Wyatt (Bernice). She was retired from Miller & Rhoads, and was a longtime member of Fairmount Memorial Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Atlee Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., where services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday. Interment 1 p.m. at Essex Cemetery, Tappahannock. The family would like to express their thanks to her wonderful caregivers. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Fairmount Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund.
