MCCLINTOCK, Elizabeth Stokes Simmons, 92, of South Hill, died September 30, 2009. She is survived by two daughters, Glenn S. Kirkland, of Boydton and Judy S. Farrar, of South Hill; three grandchildren, Johnny Kirkland, "Buck" Farrar and Beth Farrar-Clary; six great-grandchildren, Holden and Britiany Farrar, Johnathan and Justin Kirkland, Jorden and Kenston Hardee; a very special niece, Patricia Farrar- Moseley, of South Hill, and her sons Randy and Troy Farrar, both of Richmond. A funeral service will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory with interment in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and at all other times at the home of Judy Farrar, 729 Hite St., South Hill, Va. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Pleasant Grove U.M.C. Cemetery Fund, 24515 Hwy 47, South Hill, Va. 23970 or the Southside Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 546, South Hill, Va. 23970.
