Ellen P. HAMMARSTROM

HAMMARSTROM, Ellen P., of Richmond, died Saturday, October 3, 2009. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Carl A. Hammarstrom; her three daughters, Karen Radt and husband, Curtis, of Charlotte, N.C., Kathy Orwick and husband, Gary, of Midland, Texas, and Martha Bibby and husband, Bill, of Seattle, Wash.; five grandchildren, Brian Orwick, Heather Bailey, Michelle Blake, Candice Radt and Steven Orwick; and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia, P.O. Box 800659, UVA Medical Center, Charlottesville, Va. 22908-0659.
