Oh my dear friend Teresa it is so hard to believe that you left us 11 years ago. I still remember your smile, your sense of humor, always talking about the race outcome on Mondays, talking about the animals visiting you in at you home or was it a Pet Sanctuary? L.O.L . When I go to the Columbia boat landing to fish I always look up the hill at your graveside and I get so sad, you should be with me fishing! I do miss you so and I will never forget you my dear friend.

To John and Teresa's Family although no words can take away the sorrow that you bear, may it be a comfort to know she was loved by many and will be remembered. I met Teresa through Debby when we were in Richmond and felt like she was a lifelong friend right from the start. Lately the only way we could keep in touch was through email. I was so glad to see her at the baby shower for little Ryan. She looked good and her spirit was strong. She had grace during her illness and maintained her sense of humor and her bright smile. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May god sustain you in your hour of need and grant you inner peace

I was absolutely stunned and saddened to learn about Mrs. Burton's death. I happened upon the obituary by accident and when I saw her name, my heart stopped. I am a nurse on 6 East at St. Mary's hospital and had the pleasure of taking care of her smiling face on several different occasions. She was a ray of sunshine and never had a bad thing to say. Even if she was in pain, she never complained. She was a truly wonderful woman and I feel very grateful that I had the chance to get to know her. My deepest prayers and thoughts go to her family. I'm sure she will be greatly missed as I know that all of us here on 6 East will definitely miss her. She will always be in my heart. Sincerely, Jaime N. Kimbel

Teresa, you have fought the good fight of "faith". Wow.. a true testimony of faith. We enter into Holy Week, the sacred days before Easter. We recall the ministry of Jesus, his last supper with his friends, his passion and his death. On Easter Sunday, with the entire Christian family, we celebrate Christ's resurrection and the liberration of the world from the slavery of sin and death. This comes from our Daily Reflection ; we will miss you. It is sad that you are not with us but you are with Christ and what a joy that must be. We love you and will continue to pray for your family.
