Avery good teacher; a warm human being. I met her at a reunion in 1988. She said I remember you were very tall and very quiet.

Philip Schuyler High School was a remarkable school. Rosemary Frany was a remarkable teacher and a marvelous human being. Her genuine caring for her students was an inspiration to all of us who were privileged to know her. May God grant her eternal rest and peace.

This past week, Albany lost Rosemary Frany, an illustrious lady. After her mother died young, her father continued teaching her and her siblings positive values. Throughout her ninety and one half years, Rosemary proved to be an indispensable member of her family. She was kind, considerate and willing to assist us and advise us whenever necessary. She was eager to accompany us as each new experience unfolded. In doing so, her patience and independence inspired everyone she knew to strive to become a better human being. Though she had no children of her own, Rosemary taught and influenced thousands of students who have found success all over the nation. They have revered her and they have honored her at class reunions. Today, it is our turn to again honor this remarkable woman who was captain of her soul.
I'LL LOVE YOU FOREVER AUNT ROSIE ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Rosemary Frany was a great woman and a very dear friend who will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to all her family, whom she loved very much.
My aunt and I met Rosemary 33 years ago on a UAlbany alumni trip to Japan, and she quickly became a "family" friend. We enjoyed many fun times together, including some fabulous Metropolitan Opera trips.
Rosemary was a true "point of light" and a wonderful person. I know she's with the angels.

I spoke to Miss Frany at our last Philip Schuyler reunion for the years 1948 and 1949. She not only was an excellent history teacher but a real friend to all her students. My sincere sympathy to all her family. She will be missed terribly.

Rosemary Frany was not only a role model, but a "proxy" Mom to many. She appeared to be serious and entirely focused on her teaching. She extended her quiet wisdom and love to all her students. At every reunion, she remembered her students, where they sat in her classes; as well as, personal things.
I love Rosemary, and kept in touch with her. I am grateful to have been a part of her life.
Sincere condolences to her family.

From one of her student admirers of the class of '56 at Schuyler. I will always remember this outstanding teacher and Lady. She was loved by many. Thank you Rosemary Frany, thank you very much. Her name just passed my lips to my children less than two (2) weeks ago. God Bless you.
