Frances Kennedy Obituary

Kennedy, Frances SCHENECTADY Frances Kennedy, 64, died Saturday, July 26, 2008 at home, with her loving family at her side. She was born in Hudson, N.Y. on November 14, 1943, the daughter of the late Alexander and Frances (Scutt) Mathew, and lived in the Schenectady area for more than 40 years. Frances was an administra-tive assistant at the OD Heck Facility, where she was also a union representative for CSEA. She was a very active volunteer for the Democratic party and worked on many campaigns. Survivors include her beloved children, Thomas P. (Ann) Kennedy, Kelly M. Christensen, Timothy J. (Hollie) Kennedy, Susan E. Harris, Allison A. Kennedy, Todd M. Kennedy and Robert T. (Tabatha) Kennedy; brother, Robert Mathew; sisters, Sue Taylor and Patricia Rooney; 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call at DeLegge Funeral Home, 1346 Chrisler Ave. Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. On Thursday, relatives and friends may go directly to West Ghent Reformed Church, Route 22, where a service will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Cedar Park Cemetery, Hudson. The family suggests memorial donations to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union St., Schenectady, NY 12308.

Tim, Holly and family. I was saddened to here of Fran's passing. I've known her since I started at OD Heck in the 80's. I will truly miss our extended conversations at Ocean State Job Lot about the good ole days.
