To the Mattison and Denue families,

It was with total shock and disbelief that we learned of Steve's passing. We are sure you can believe the range of emotions that have passed since learning of this. Stubby was one of a kind; someone we will truly miss; someone we loved having around; someone always good for a laugh whether you were laughing with him or at him; always a friend and someone you could count on. We are so saddened by this loss and will miss him terribly. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time and the days ahead. We know how much he cherished all of you... his friends, grandchildren, families and co-workers. We think of you all often which bring smiles to our faces and now tears to our hearts. Our prayers are with you all.

To the Mattison Family:

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We will miss Steve, he was a gift from God to all whom knew him. We are here for you, call for anything you may need to help comfort you, and make this transition easier for you, just let us know, when you are ready. We wanted very much to be with you Thursday night and at the funeral today, our jobs would not allow us this; however our hearts are with you. We will call later this evening and keep schedules open for any of you.
May God grant you the comfort, strength, and Grace.
All our Love,
James and Jackie Tennyson

Rhoda, Bud, & Tammy; My heart goes out to you & all of your family at this tremendous loss of your son Steve. He was a kind and gentle person and will be missed by all. I remember those "Sunday" dinners with the entire family at that large table and no one minded one more person enjoying your food and Steve's witty additions to the meal. I wish you and the entire family peace of mind in knowing that Steve is where he will be rewarded for his good life. Love you all, Jenny
