Lasch, Vivian ALBANY Vivian (Berce) Lasch died Monday, September 29, 2008 in the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital after a short illness. Born in Newark, N.J., daughter of the late William and Mercedes Berce, she was educated in East Orange, N.J. Mrs. Lasch was a homemaker and also worked as a secretary for Reliance Insurance Company in Albany. She was a communicant of St. John-St. Ann's Church in the South End and a volunteer for many years at the Villa Mary Immaculate Nursing Home. She was an avid reader. Wife of the late Philip J. Lasch; mother of Philip W. (Diane) Lasch and Claire (Steve) Beaudet, all of Albany; sister of Yvonne (Alan) Jones of Waverly, Ohio and Jacqueline Kingsberry of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 noon Thursday at St. John-St. Ann's Church in the South End, (corner of Fourth and Franklin Strs.) Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the church prior to the Mass from 11 a.m.-12 noon. Interment will follow the Mass in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may send memorial contributions to Community Hospice of Albany County, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 or St. John-St. Ann's Parish Center, 88 Fourth Ave., Albany, NY 12202.

mom, it will be 1 yr ago that you left us and went to heaven with dad. it seems like yesterday when we were all together. i hope that one day we can all be together again. miss you and love you
