Vivian Lasch

Lasch, Vivian ALBANY Vivian (Berce) Lasch died Monday, September 29, 2008 in the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital after a short illness. Born in Newark, N.J., daughter of the late William and Mercedes Berce, she was educated in East Orange, N.J. Mrs. Lasch was a homemaker and also worked as a secretary for Reliance Insurance Company in Albany. She was a communicant of St. John-St. Ann's Church in the South End and a volunteer for many years at the Villa Mary Immaculate Nursing Home. She was an avid reader. Wife of the late Philip J. Lasch; mother of Philip W. (Diane) Lasch and Claire (Steve) Beaudet, all of Albany; sister of Yvonne (Alan) Jones of Waverly, Ohio and Jacqueline Kingsberry of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 noon Thursday at St. John-St. Ann's Church in the South End, (corner of Fourth and Franklin Strs.) Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the church prior to the Mass from 11 a.m.-12 noon. Interment will follow the Mass in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
