I just learned of Landen's home-going. I met landen this summer at Word of Life in Schroon Lake. He brought a group of teens from Albany to summer camp. He was full of life obviously from his relationship with God. I was trying to reach him and found the news. My prayers are with his family.

I did not have the privilege of knowing Landen personally, however heard my daughter, Charissa Solomon, speak so highly of him and his wife Joyanna. I believe they had toured together on Heartsong and she said he was like a big brother to her. He had just been in Springfield at CBC and she had the opportunity to visit with him a week or two before his passing. She was absolutely shocked at the unexpected, untimely passing. I hope they will be able to determine what actually happened. I pray that Jesus will direct Joyanna at this difficult time. Charissa spoke so highly of him. My prayers are with the family at this difficult time!

Most of my interaction with Landen came through our high school musicals. I have yet to meet someone as gracious and humane as Landen was. I still have a CD he made me after we graduated together in 2003 full of christian music. It's all I've been listening to since Landen's passing. Landen - we miss you!

Lenord, Carli, and Larissa:
Hi! Its Lacey in Nebraska. I just want you to know that I am thinking about you and praying for you. I was in total shock when I heard the news about Landen. I still remember when Landen and Stephen sang "Isnt He" during the Christmas play. Everytime I sing that song around Christmas time, I think about him! This last Sunday when I led worship, I had the congregation sing "Because He Lives." We sang it as a prayer for you and your family. Just remember that BECAUSE HE LIVES...you can face tomorrow. Let HIM be your strength for each new day. We love you and are praying for you. I wanted to come to the funeral, but it was a little to long of a drive with my new baby. But, I was thinking about you today. May God bless you!

I am another high school classmate. As I read through everyone's memories and grief, I'm not sure what I have new to say. Landen was such a completely kind, warm and loving person. In school, musicals and plays, I cherished the time with him. When I heard he had passed away, I pulled out all of our old pictures, videos, and programs and just tried to wrap my head around this tragedy. I am thinking of his family, whose grief must be unimaginable. I hope it is some comfort to you that in his short life, Landen touched so many people's hearts. I will never forget him.

Landen is one of those people that you can never forget...his smiling face and rampant laughter will always be a part of my memories of him. I loved taking my breaks and going into Starbucks only to hear him shout my name and strike up conversation. I met Landen back in January, where I watched him every day interact with the customers, and continuously bring smiles to faces of those around him. Every day since January I have watched him make his friends/co-workers, Alyssa and Frank, laugh which made working more fun than it was a task. He was such a kind and caring person. Never did I see him without a smile; all he ever wanted to do was please. He will always be missed.

I was honored to be in musicals with Landen and he was such a giving, self-less person. He is the kind of person people would look up too. I will keep his family in my prayers.

I will always remember Landen as a genuine person whose joy and kindness touched everyone around him. Whether it was sitting in U.S. History class, leading devotions at Youth Alive, or singing his heart out on stage, Landen displayed a love for life and a love for his Lord that was inspiring and refreshing. I'll never forget our time together on stage as the "Major General" and "Frederick;" it is truly one of my most cherished memories. Though it feels he left us too soon, what assurance to know that he has now run into the arms of Jesus and that we will one day be reunited! Praise God for such a blessed hope!

We want to extend our deepest sympathy to Landen's family. I have a photo of Andy and Landen in their make-up from "Pirates" and now it has become even more special. We cannot begin to express our sorrow at your sudden loss, but do have the comfort that Landen's faith has now become sight. It was a wonderful privilege to have known Landen, and we will be forever grateful that Andy and Landen could become friends through their music and their shared faith. God bless you all.

Landen will truly be missed. What a faithful servant he was. Landen was not only so joyful but such an accepting person. I will never forget such a person of his character. He will always be in my heart.

How my heart breaks at the news of Landen's passing! However, I draw comfort from knowing that we will see him again, although not on this side of eternity. What a wonderful homecoming it must have been! Although I only knew him a short time, I was so impressed by the young man that Landen was: he was kind to everyone he met in the halls at school, had a beautiful voice, and a vibrant faith in his Lord, which he never hesitated to share with others.

While I will certainly miss and grieve for Landen, I can rejoice in the fact that Landen now enjoys being in the presence of our Lord, Jesus Christ--permanently. And that thought--the thought of sharing eternity with Him--should carry us through even the darkest of days. Know that your family is in my prayers!

First of all I would like to express my most deepest sympathies to Landen's Family. I had the wonderful pleasure of going to High School with "Land" and during those years he became a very special person to myself and everyone around him. I am so shocked and absolutely crushed to hear of this loss. He had the most amazing voice and when he would sing my heart would melt. What a true light. I know that I will have the fondest memories and when I watch and listen to those old school performances whether it be choir concerts or when he was so magnificent in the Pirates of Penzance, he Frederic and I Ruth. I am just rambling on, but there is so much to say about such a wonderful soul. I only wished that I had stayed in touch more. Again, My Thoughts and Prayers go out to everyone that had the joy to know and love such an amazing person. He will be missed and not forgotten for we know that Land is at home with the Lord. *Maggie*

We only knew Landen briefly when he was in the musical activities at Gering High School, but he made such an impression on us as a kind, talented and loving young man. We enjoyed watching him in two musicals and were so impressed by his maturity and kindness to others. What a loss for those on Earth who love him, but what an awesome reception for him in heaven! Our sympathies to his family and all who loved him.

I had the privilege of attending Gering High School with Landen...and sitting next to him in a couple different classes. He was the greatest person and I am just heartbroken to hear of him passing on, however It gives me great peace to know he is in heaven now . He always called me "Nan" and teased me about being grouchy some days, but was always there for me when I was having a bad day. He would always tell me he would pray for me. I am so blessed to have known him and I am so sorry to his family for losing such a great wonderful friend. I will miss him dearly.

October 23, 2008

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I worked with Landen at Celebration City for two seasons. Looking back, the one thing that stands out is that he always had the most genuine smile on his face. Although we didn't know eachother very well, he would stop to tell me hello any time we passed eachother and he always made my day better just because his smile was so contagious. It is refreshing to know that he is with the Lord. Yesterday, after I heard the news, I heard this song on the radio and I thought it was perfect for him.

"Go rest high on that mountain
Son, you work on earth is done
Go to heaven a shoutin
Love for the father and son"

Dear Pastor Len, Cari and Larissa. Joyanna and family,

My heart breaks for you. I remember little Landen shy and sweet. (even his little thing with sucking his fingers) I can not know the pain you feel from this loss. I do however understand heart break as we lost Jeremy (Dennie's son) last year about this time. My only comfort was knowing that nothing takes God by suprise. He knows everything that will happen in life and is always in control. I love you all. Know that me and my whole family are lifting you up in prayer around the clock. May you feel his strength when yours is gone. May you feel his peace and love. God is faithful!
Much love, Stacey

First I want to let the family know that I am praying for you. There are no words to express my deep sorrow and sadness.

Landen was one of the greatest youth I ever had in my Youth Ministry. He was always there to make me laugh and to encourage me. He was a Leader not only in SOLID Youth Ministries but in the Church. He impacted so many with his radiant love for Jesus. He is and always will be one of my heros. I will miss him while on earth and long to sit beside him at the feet of Jesus one day. I love you Reimers and will continue to pray for you daily.

Joyanna & family...
There really are no words, but there are a lot of feelings and emotions I wish you weren't having to go through. Landen had the sweetest spirit and was one of the nicest guys on the CBC campus. He always said hello and made you smile. I'm blessed to have known him the little that I did. He made quite an impact on the world and i thank God for the precious time you had with him Joyanna. May God help you through your time of grief. Many thoughts and prayers are dedicated to you all.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, ""I welcome you.""

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......""My day was not in vain.""
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Joyanna, Colton, Larissa and parents,

The loss of Landen is so great and beyond our human understanding. He was loved by everyone as he had a special gift of giving. The stories I have heard from students and friends at CBC these past two days are stories of Landen giving selflessly. HeartSong loved him dearly. May you know that we are praying incessantly for God's strength, comfort and help for you at this time.

Reimer Family:

While I was saddened to hear of Landen's passing, at the same time, I'm reminded of the lasting impact he's had on my life.

Landen was a great friend, teacher, and mentor to me. I looked up to him and will always remember his smile, encouraging words, and positive attitude.

There are no words to express exactly how I feel, but it brings great comfort to know he's finally where we all want to be some day.

Landen was a special person. He was such a refreshing breath of fresh air each morning that I saw him at Starbucks. As I stood in line I smiled as I watched him with each customer... how friendly and upbeat and ALWAYS with a quick witted friendly comment to one and all. Truly someone who was taken from us far too soon. He was a gifted person who offered so much to us all
He will be so missed

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow. I briefly met Landen at Starbucks, every Saturday was my morning ritual. He always greeted me with his bright eyes, and smiling face. I was so shocked to hear of his passing. For such a short moment of time that we met...he had a wonderful and pleasant way about him. I will sadly miss his delightful demeanor. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of those who were touch by Landen.
