V. Peters Obituary

Peters, V. Boyd EAST GREENBUSH V. Boyd Peters, age 86, of Hall Street, died after a brief illness at St Peter's Hospital, November 24, 2007. Born in Albany, he was a resident of the capital region all of his life. He was Navy veteran of World War II and then became a printer for over 50 years, first with Peters Printing and then with Modern Press until he retired in 1990. Boyd was an elder of the Love Lutheran Church in East Greenbush and was past treasurer, and had been a member of the East Greenbush VFW, and the Albany Yacht Club bowling league. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann (Williams) Peters; devoted son James B. Peters of Troy; and a sister Marjorie Peters Maxwell of Harwich Port, Mass. and one niece Margaret Bark-youmb. Memorial services will be 2 o'clock Saturday, December 1, 2007 at the Love Lutheran Church Pheasant Lane East Greenbush. Interment will be private. The family has requested that those who wish make contributions in Boyd's name to the Love Lutheran Church, P O Box 118 East Greenbush, NY 12061.
