Angelina Marrelle Obituary

Marrelle, Angelina ALBANY, N.Y. Angelina Marrelle, age 97, daughter of Michael and Carmela (Luciano) Pettograsso, passed away December 4, 2007 at Teresian House Nursing Home to meet our Lord and her husband Louis. An-gelina was a lifelong resident of the Albany area, residing on Ontario Street for 54 years. Angelina was a parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul's Church in Albany. She was also a member of the altar-rosary society of St. Vincent de Paul's and a member of the Pine Hills Neighborhood Association. Angelina was most happy enjoying her home on Ontario Street and, in later years, painting at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Plattsburgh, N.Y. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-nieces, great-nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Louis; her cousin, His Holiness Pope John Paul I; her brothers, Frederick Pettograsso, who died serving his country during World War II, Daniel Pettograsso and Joseph Pettograsso. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Chicorelli Funeral Home, 8 Dudley Heights (Northern Blvd.), Albany. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Madison Ave., Albany, N.Y. Interment in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, N.Y.
