Margaret Parker

Parker, Margaret ALBANY Margaret Pfeiffer Parker, 94, died Friday, December 7, 2007 at her residence. She was born in Albany, the daughter of the late William and Jennie Hyde Pfeiffer. Margaret resided in Albany all of her life and was a graduate of Albany High School and Mildred Elley Business School. She was employed at one time by the former L.E. Stewart and Sons of Albany. Margaret was a member of the former Hope Baptist and Madison Avenue Baptist Churches. She enjoyed square dancing and traveling with her late husband, Eugene Parker, and they also camped at the Methodist Farm from 1954 to 2004. She also did crocheting. She is survived by two sons, Brian Parker of Pleasant Valley, N.Y. and Bruce Parker and his wife, Cynthia of East Berne, N.Y.; and a granddaughter, Christen Swatling and her husband, Kenneth. She was predeceased by her brothers, William and Art and her sisters, Lillian, June and Jane. Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 12, 2007, 1 p.m. at the Tebbutt & Frederick Memorial Home, 633 Central Avenue, Albany. Relatives and friends are also invited to call at the funeral home Wednesday 11:30 to 1 p.m. Interment will be in Memory's Garden Cemetery, Colonie.
