Wilma Thomas Obituary

Wilma Deloris Thomas, 91, of 301 Cherry, died at 10:37 p.m. Monday (March 30, 2009), in Blessing Hospital. She was born Sept. 20 1917, in Brown County, a daughter of Eldredge and Maude Mae Rigg Thomas. She was employed at the P&S Clinic for 25 years until her retirement in 1985. She was an EKG technician and administered more than 50,000 EKGs. She attended the Non-Denominational Christian Church. Wilma enjoyed sewing, gardening and stamp collecting. Survivors include a sister, Laura Mae Thoamas of Quincy; a niece, Shirley Naderhoff of Fort Myers, Fla.; two nephews, Ronald Thomas of Farmington Hills, Mich., and Raymond Thomas of Georgetown, Texas; 16 great-nieces and great-nephews; and 21 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Loren Thomas; and a sister, Virginia Silger. SERVICES: 10 a.m. Saturday in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Leslie White and the Rev. Bradley Bloemker. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. VISITATION: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home. I known Wilma for 30 years and Sharon known her for 12 years ,she will be missed, she loved feeding the birds durning the summer and planting her flowers.She was a very caring woman.We will miss you Wilma.
