Family-Placed Death Notice

TINDALL, Margaret Margaret Ellen Brett Tindall was born in Vancouver, British Columbia on May 20, 1912, and moved with her mom and dad, Agustus Jasper Woolsey Brett and Susanna Stevens Brett, to Regina, Saskatchewan. During World War II, Margaret moved to Washington DC where she met Frank Emmett Tindall whom she married in 1943. After the birth of their daughters, Judith and Janice, they moved to Reading, Pennsylvania. Frank and Margaret then moved their family to Atlanta in 1948. Frank died July 25, 1957. Margaret lived through the Great Depression, two World Wars, the death of her husband, being a single mother, and countless other trials. She never allowed life's hardships to overcome her. She was always thankful for her blessings. Margaret Ellen Brett Tindall passed away July 12, 2009, her husband's 100th birthday, at the age of 97. She was dearly loved by her daughters, Judith Keen and Janice Townsend, a brother and sister Dr. Oliver Brett of Regina, Saskatchewan, her sister Sue Collier of Norval, Ontario, six grandsons, six great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends. Margaret Ellen Brett Tindall led a great life. Visitation and services will be held at Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church on Thursday, July 16, 2009. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM with services to follow at 11:00 AM. The family requests that memorial donations be sent to Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church.
