I too have many fond memories of Pierina from Princeton Street. She lived just a few doors away while we were growing up and she always had a kind word for everyone.
May she rest in peace..

Dan and family,
So sorry to hear about your mother. God bless her.
Have many good memories of Pierina from Princeton St....I still have the afghan she made for me and John when we bought the house at 114(only having moved from 112). Can remember bringing her tomatoes from John's garden, peppers, too...she always enjoyed that, looked forward to it, I think.
Can remember her and Mrs. Sanchez sitting on the front stairs in the warmer weather...always taking the time to talk to us,the "kids" in the nieghborhood, and other neighbors, walking by....
Lots of memories ....
Take care.
