I was one of the aides who cared for Mrs. Gourley for 6yrs. I miss her and loved her very much. She was like a grandmother to me. I was very shocked and saddened to hear about her death.

Margaret Gourley was my grandmother and the closest person to me for many, many years. She was a graduate of Burdette Teacher's College in 1920 and the valedictorian of her high school class in Lowell, MA. Her family came from Ireland and ran a store in Lowell for many years. Margaret had one son and four grandchildren. She moved to Wellesley in the early 1960s and enjoyed many memories there.

Margaret was my mother-in-law for many years. She was a good person and she lived a long life and I have fond memories of our many times together.
