Not sure what to say?

August 30, 2009

Dad, coming up on your year aniversary you left us to be in heaven. We miss you and talk about you in one capacity or another everyday.

So the baby you felt kicking in my belly turned out to be a baby girl. Oh how you would love her. Mom wants to change Violet's middle name to Joy. Yes she has given us so much joy in this year of grieving and missing you.

We love you so much. We cherish all our memories we had with you. Love love love love you! I hope you are at peace.

Love your youngest,
Krissy

Hey Dad, I just came across this site. Thought I would say hi. Saw Aiden, Reece and Violet two months ago when they came to visit for Easter. Boy you would have loved their smiles at 5am when they woke me to ride the ponies. We buried you in your uniform and switched my nametag with yours. From one veteran to another thank you for your service to our country. To the man who gave me my first salute many years ago I gave you your last that day. I had the honor of passing the flag that draped your casket – the flag that so many have given the ultimate sacrifice to protect, to your wife and my mother.

Ann, Krissy, Kenny, Aiden, Reese, and family, " The Lord, your God, is in your midst, a mighty Savior; He will rejoice over you with gladness, and renew you in His love, He will sing joyfully because of you. Zephaniah 3:17 At this difficiult time...though we sometimes may feel powerless to change many circumstances in our lives, it is comforting to know the Lord is in control and that HE has the power to change any situation. Remembering all of you in prayer. May He bless you with love, peace, strength faith, hope, and comfort in the days that lie ahead. "Fear not I am with thee; be not dismayed; I am thy God." Isaiah 41:10 love and peace to all

My Dad was a very special father, friend and man. I feel truly blessed for each and every moment we shared. I am so thankful for the support of our family, friends, and community in this time of transition and transformation for all of us who were touched by his presence.

Reading and hearing the thoughts and reflections of others who knew him continue to affirm how my Dad's love for life, family and community has inspired us to remember what is of True Value in this world.

My love and gratitude to you, Dad.

Our family expresses our deep appreciation for all of the loving support and kind words during this time in our lives. It really does make a difference.

May we live each day in gratitude.
Peace be with us all,

Rebecca

Mr. Bruhn's passing has left me shocked and saddened. There was not a time that I saw him that he did not stop and converse with me about ALL of his girls. He was a gentleman who truly loved his family. May he rest in peace.

Dick was one of the first friendly and welcoming neighbors I met. He always had a smile and shared interesting news. He loved "his Anne" and was always so proud of his girls. We will miss his presence while walking the dog. May he rest in happiness and peace. Peg,Mike and the Dwyers

A man who wasn't afraid to express his belief and love in Christ Jesus, a man of faith, a man who helped me understand the ways of our Lord.
Now with the Lord in rest and joy.
I always appreciated the warm smiles I received whenever we met.
In Christ's Love, I know he will do well in the Kingdom of our Lord.
