Dear "Auntie" Margie,
I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Bert's passing. After 50 years, you will always be Aunt & Uncle to me as we kids grew up calling you that. I have so many fond memories of growing up with Rich (Baker School Orchestra times) and you and your husband and family and the old neighborhood. I can see his smiling teddy bear face! Just returned from a trip, so we could not "pay our respects" in a more personal and timely way.

I met Mr. Paley as a friend of my parents. He was a fellow bowtie wearer and a man of great character and good cheer. Bert and I always had good laughs and he would tell stories of his days as a haberdasher to the stars. He also confirmed for me that a button down shirt was the perfect backdrop for a bowtie.
