I knew Dorothy well when I was the rectory secretary for five and a half years. She was a kind and generous person, very active at the Immaculate Conception Church. I remember well when her beloved Burt passed away. I am very saddened to learn of her death, but know that she is right up there in Heaven and is with Burt again. Rest in peace, Dorothy. My condolences to her remaining family and friends. Margaret Bedell formally of Medford.

Dorothy Barton was a wonderful and very bright woman. I worked with her in the 1970's for the federal government. She walked with me along the path of my journey to the priesthood and shared in a special way my ordination day in 1987. The world and the Church has lost a great advocate for good. However, she is now sharing the fullness of her faith with the Lord she loved.
