Dear Bobby & Chris and Ciampa Family,
On behalf of the Murphy Family (formerly of E. Boston) please accept our most sincere condolences for your loss. I am sure my Dad (Russell) knew yours. We are very fortunate to have had such great mentors in our lives growing up in East Boston! It is sad that such special guys like your Dad, Trav's Dad, Tony Marmo and the many other great men of East Boston could not live forever, but the wonderful memories they all left behind will always be treasured and shared with those who keep their names honored. I was so sad to hear of Freddie's passing. I knew him most of my life and remember his many "discussions" with my grandmother. (Rita Bostrom) Some of their conversations are legendary, to say the least. I called him Uncle Freddie. He called me a good luck charm. I just wanted to let you know that I tried to come and pay my respects, but I got lost twice. Please know that I'm thinking of you, Regina, remembering when I would go to your house with my Nan. I miss you and both my Mom and Dad send their deepest condolences, as do I.
