Deborah Williams Obituary

WILLIAMS, Deborah Howes Died unexpectedly at home September 19, 2008. Born in Boston, MA on November 22, 1946. Debbie grew up in Marblehead, Ma. She graduated from Marion Court Secretarial School and attended Massachusetts College of Art. Debbie was an accomplished guitar player and singer, often keeping her family and friends entertained. As a member of the Corinthian Yacht Club, Debbie was a gifted sailor, talented tennis player and swimmer. A long time resident of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Debbie worked in the jewelry trading and sales business. With a keen eye and charismatic personality, she was highly regarded and successful in her chosen profession. Deborah Howes was the daughter of Daniel N. Howes and the late Patricia Conway Howes. Debbie is also survived by her son Geoffrey Ayres and daughter Jennifer Ayres of New York, her five siblings, Carol Altshuler of Norwell, MA, Nancy Faul of Knoxville, TN Timothy Howes of Clinton, MA, Sheila Chandler of Marblehead, MA, and Christopher Howes of Beverly Farms, MA. Debbie also leaves her two aunts, an uncle, many cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Her beloved dog Velvet Rupert had died in August of this year.
