ESPO, Ruth Ann (Sidel) Of Wayland, formerly of Weston on Tuesday, September 30, 2008. For 48 years, she was the beloved wife of Stephen C. Espo. Loving mother of Andy Espo of Natick, Peter Espo of Brookline and Sue & Dan Greenfield of Sharon. Adored grandmother of Jacob & Eli Greenfield. Loving sister of Dr. James & Susan Sidel of Wellesley. Services at Temple Beth Elohim, 10 Bethel Rd., Wellesley on Friday, October 3 at 10:00am. Burial in Lindwood Memorial Park, Randolph. Memorial observance Friday 2-7pm, Saturday 7-9pm and Sunday 11am-1pm & 4-6pm at her late residence. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Joan & Jim Vernon Cancer Center, Newton Wellesley Hospital Development Office, 2014 Washington St., Newton, 02462. Levine Chapels, Brookline 617-277-8300

We are so saddened at the loss of our friend Ruth Anne - her kindness and caring will never be forgotten - she added to our lives in her friendship and we so enjoyed spending time with her.

I've known Ruth Ann since elementary school, and although we drifted apart for several years, we became reconnected recently, and I had the opportunity to know again the kind, calm woman who tried so hard and so well to remain activel and involved. Her courage and determination were truly remarkable.
