Marguerite Joyce Obituary

JOYCE,MargueriteE. (Griffin) 83, of Lynnfield formerly of Peabody, died Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Sunrise at Gardner Park in Peabody while surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife of 50 years to the late Joseph A. Joyce Sr., loving mother of Joseph A. Joyce Jr. and his wife Zenaida of Houston TX, Diane M. DePari and her partner Ralph P. Santosuosso of Wakefield, Paul G. Joyce of Effingham NH and Pamela E. Laham and her husband Raymond P. of Stoneham; cherished grandmother of Jennifer Grace Joyce of TX, David R. DePari of Wakefield, Heather and Megan Laham of Stoneham; sister of Ruth Bonfanti of Gloucester, Patsy Lawrence of FL, Joseph and Richard Griffin of Peabody; aunt to many nieces and nephews. Her parents George and Marie "Tina" (Gelineau) Griffin and her siblings George Griffin, Edith Fournier and Florence Pouliot pre deceased her. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 9 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., facility, PEABODY followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 758 Salem St., Lynnfield. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown MA 02472; or Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923.
