Mary Countie Obituary

COUNTIE, Mary E. (Roberts) In Revere, Oct. 3rd, unexpectedly at 81 years. Wife of the late John J. Devoted mother of John T. & wife Karen of Merrimac, MA, Richard M. of Thailand, Edmund A. & Timothy R. Countie both of Revere & Kerry S. Countie & wife Patricia of Londonderry, NH. Dear sister of Dorothy Loudin & Alan Roberts both of Torrington, CT & the late Richard Roberts. Also lovingly survived by 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Funeral Mass on Thurs., Oct. 9 in the Immaculate Conception Church, Revere at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Interment will be held at a later date at the Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. Alumna of Chelsea Soldiers' Home School of Nursing. Mrs. Countie retired from the Chelsea Soldiers' Home in 1990 following a 30 year nursing career there. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Patients' Recreation Fund, Chelsea Soldiers' Home, 96 Crest Ave., Chelsea, MA 02150. Arrangements were completed by the Vertuccio Home for Funerals of Revere.

I'm so very sorry for your loss, Tim was such a great person, always smiling, laughing , cracking jokes, and picking me up and giving me bear hugs when we hung o. Broadway, I will miss him deeply, my thoughts and prayers r with him and his family during this difficult time..God Bless u Tim, much love ALWAYS..
