We do not need a special day
To bring you to our minds.
The days we do not think of you
Are very hard to find.

Each morning when we awake,
We know that you are gone.
And no one knows the heartache
As we try to carry on.

Our hearts still ache with sadness
And secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you
No one will ever know.

Our thoughts are always with you,
Your place no one can fill.
In life we loved you dearly;
In death we love you still,

There will always be a heartache,
And often a silent tear.
But always a precious memory
Of the days when you were here.

If tears could make a staircase,
And heartaches make a lane,
We'd walk the path to heaven
And bring you home again.

We hold you close within our hearts;
And there you will remain,
To walk with us throughout our lives
Until we meet again.

Our chain is broken now,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

Nana C

I read this poem and it reminded me of you.

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want to rites in a gloom-filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little-but not too long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me-but let me go
For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone.
It's all part of the Master's plan
A step on the road to home
When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds
Miss me but let me go.

I will miss you very, very much! I'll miss all of the chats we had about work, school, boyfriends, your parents, and of course your kids & grandkids and so many things that you've learned along the way. Sean told me over 7 years ago that I was his #2 and his Nana was his #1 girlfriend and always would be. I admire the close bond that you had with all of your grandsons. You were the apple of their eyes - their Nana Banana! Through all the heartache you and your family endured you always had such a positive outlook on life. Knowing you made me a better person. I will do my best to help take care of Papa - he already misses you like crazy. I hope you got to the party you were talking about. I will think of you always.

Love you,
Lauren

Papa Bobby, Joanie, Monica & Bobby, I was so sad to hear of Joan's passing. I can still remember the first night we met. She came with Jimmy to the halls for support and found her self. As to everyone else she was a great inspiration and power of example to me. Her passing is such a loss, but her life was such gift to all of us that knew and loved her. My prayers are with you all.

Mrs. C.
You were such a great influence on me and so many of my friends. I do not know what would have become of me without yor guidance and kindness. I know my mother really appreciated the influence you and Mr. C. had on me as a teenager, and I will never forget that.

To the Campo family,

I am very saddened to hear of Joan's passing. My heart is with you in this time of such terrible loss and sorrow. Words can not express how very sorry I am. Trust in the Lord and know that Joan now sits alongside Chris and Jim with our Heavenly Father in paradise.

She will never be far away -- always in our hearts, a gentle breeze, a soft rain, a bright sun. We all hold special memories of her near and dear.

My thoughts and prayers are will you all. May God Bless. May you find comfort and peace one day at a time.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Knowing Joan seeing her faith, grace and courage has made me a better person, I will miss our chats, or just her knowing looks when I walked in the door. I will also never forget that no matter how she was doing those hugs in the form of a okay but how are you honey. Bobby, I know at this tiime you have a heavy heart and a lot on your mind but remember, keep your freezer full of ice cream bars, because Madeline is still going to want treats from her Bobilo!
