HOOVER, William L. Of Burlington, Oct. 4. Beloved husband of 54 years of Claire (Slocum). Loving father of William R. & his wife Laurie of Burlington, Robert T. & his spouse John Gibbs of Malden, Bruce A. of Martha's Vineyard. Brother of Claudine Hawbaker of PA, Richard of Myrtle Beach, SC and Thomas of VA. Grandfather of William G., Nicole M., Jason R. & Melissa C. Graveside services will be held at Pine Haven Cemetery, Bedford St., Burlington, on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Wednesday from 4 - 8 p.m. Memorials in Bill's name may be made to Shriner's Burn Institute, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114 or Visiting Nurse Association of Middlesex East and Visiting Nurse Hospice, 607 North Ave., Suite 17, Wakefield, MA 01880.
