Paul Kenyon Obituary

KENYON, Paul Burnham, DDS 77, died peacefully in his sleep at his home in North Conway, NH. He was a long time resident of Annisquam. Born March 6, 1931 in Newton, MA to Paul B. Kenyon, Editor of the Gloucester Daily Times and Louise Tomlinson Kenyon, Folly Cove Designer. He was proud to have been a Mayflower Descendant on both sides of his family. A graduate of Gloucester High School, Bowdoin College and The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He served in the Army Medical Corps and was stationed in Germany, before starting his dental practice in Gloucester. He loved to sail and was a lifelong member of the Annisquam Yacht Club, spending many weekends cruising with friends and family. A devoted family man, he is survived by his wife of 48 years Sandra (Shigo) Kenyon, children Paul B. Kenyon, III of Gloucester, Ann Seiler Ullmann of Beverly and Sara Tomlinson Kenyon of Gloucester and his 5 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Peter T. Kenyon of Belfast, ME, his aunts Grace Murray of Gloucester and Ann Hulbert of Nova Scotia and by many nieces and nephews. Contributions in his memory may be made to: The Annisquam Village Church, The Squam Rock Land Trust, c/o S.Nunes, 7 Wall St., Gloucester, or the North Conway Public Library, P.O. Box 409, North Conway, NH. A Memorial Service will be held at a future date.
