O'CONNELL, Wilfred E. Of Norwood, Oct. 9, 2008. Loving husband of the late Lillian C. (King) O'Connell. Devoted father of Eileen M. and Patrick Tam of Sudbury, Mark M. & Cyndi O'Connell of The Woodlands, TX., Rosemary and George O'Connor of Westwood. Cherished brother of the late Joseph, Daniel, John and Mary. Dear grandfather of Mark and Daniel O'Connor, Claire Jun and Grace Tam, Lillian, Lucas and Elise O'Connell. Funeral from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD, Mon. Oct.13 at 9 AM. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood at 10 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours at the Funeral Home, Sun. Oct. 12, 4-8 PM. Interment Highland Cemetery, Norwood. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Wilfred may be made to St. Patrick's Manor, 863 Central St., Framingham, Ma, 01701. Late W.W. II Army Veteran. Mr. O'Connell,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
