Violet Tempesta Obituary

TEMPESTA, Violet (Lilly) Of Revere, on Oct. 9th, at home surrounded by her family, at age 93. Beloved wife of the late Tullio. Devoted mother of Carol Giammarino of North Andover, Barbara Tempesta of Revere, Thomas of Malden and the late Elizabeth "Betty" Morico and Robert Tempesta. Also survived by 14 loving grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren & many nieces & nephews, along with many friends and staff and friends at Winthrop Day Care. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., REVERE on Saturday, Oct 11th at 10:30 AM. Funeral Service in Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.Visiting hours Friday "Today" 5-9. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Winthrop Elderly Day Care, 26 Sturgis St., Winthrop MA 02150. Dear Vi, I will never forget your warmth and generosity plus the acceptance of another "youngster" to the Tempesta and
Giovanni Camp at Bessie's Beach in Fall River. Fifty plus years
have gone by but never the love of a good friend. Rest well Sweet Vi.
