My name is Jil Stoddard and Joanie/Joe lived across the street from my family in Marshfield. My parents and Joe/Joanie were best friends. My mom and she wrote occasionally, and she received a card from Joan a few months back about the cancer. I loved her from the moment I knew her, and she was like a second mom to me growing up.
