Your mom and dad were and still are a loving aunt and uncle who are sorely missed. As a Catholic, I believe they are in Heaven now, and as such are saints. I will pray to them to intercede for you. I am sorry I can't make it back from Oklahoma, but you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I remember Carlo out for his daily walks and thinking "I've got to do that too".

Carlos and Maryanne were in interesting pair here on earth and now they are pair in heaven too.
When I called the house to ask for Marnie and said it was "Maureen" calling Carlo would always say, "Wedgie"? I never just said Wedgie because I loved knowing he would respond that way. He was always to himself but loved cooking for us. Maryanne on the other hand, liked to harass us. She would always tease about how on the first day of grammar school each year I would always be sure to show her my new shoes. I guess even as a little kid I knew Maryanne had a fondness for clothes and accessories! I only had to comment once that I liked her Irish claddagh flutes and she got them for me as a bridal present. Carlo and Maryanne were fixtures in our group of friends' lives growing up. If I was not sleeping at home my parents knew I was most likely on the ground floor of 362 Maine Street. I have enough memories to last forever! Even when we know it is for the best that the people we love pass onto heaven, it is no easier to say goodbye.......
