Katherine Baylor Obituary

BAYLOR, Katherine Theresa "Kay" Of Harwich, formerly of Plymouth and Dorchester, age 89, died peacefully Oct. 20, 2008 at her home in Harwich, surrounded by her family. Loving wife of the late John "Jack" Patrick Baylor. Loving mother of John Baylor and his wife Peg of Old Lyme CT, Katherine Weeks and her husband Michael of Norwell and Maureen Maynard and her husband Kevin of Harwich. Sister of Leo Walsh of New York, and the late John Walsh, Frederick Walsh and Margaret Walsh. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Born in Boston, January 11, 1919, a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Sheehey) Walsh. Educated in the Boston Girls School. She had worked over 16 years for N.E. Telephone Co. She enjoyed traveling, cruising, Bingo and time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral from the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., PLYMOUTH, on Friday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Peter's Church Plymouth at 10 AM. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-7 PM only. Burial in Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth. Memorial Donations may be made to the Hospice of Cape Cod, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA. 02601.
