Always thinking about you
March 5, 2011
Hey Uncle Patrick, Happy Birthday! We miss you. Brady, Kaeley and Molly were all thinking of you today (as we all were). We miss you. Molly's little actions remind me that you and Mom are closely watching over her all the time.

Hey Pat, I can't believe it's been two years. We miss you so much. I know that you are still watching down on us and taking care of us. You never met Molly, but she says hi to you every day and kisses your picture. I know somehow you are a part of her. I know Brady and Kaeley also think of you often. I'm sure you are looking out for all of us all the time.
Love always......

Patrick,
I'm sorry I haven't written before now. Ironically, I just found out about this site while at your uncle Mike's funeral. Wow, what a tough time for Mrs. Murray.
I think about you and Jess all the time, hoping she's ok.
I often think back to that day when the 2 of you showed up to my place for a poker game. What a blast! Fun times!
I also laugh when I think about that day last August when I saw you at Staples. It was "Teacher's Day" and you were there doing promotional "stuff" for your job. You gave me tons of "junk" like beach balls, pens, & key chains. I told you I'd keep them as prizes for my students. They LOVED them! haha
The funniest part of that day was that your were doing a raffle in which the prize was tix to a Rev's game. Two weeks later, I got a call from you, saying I won! hahaha Thanks!
I hope that you and (your cousin) Patrick are having fun playing cards and telling jokes. Thinking of you....
Amy :)

To the Forde family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of such a beautiful person. I was a professor of Pat's at Salem State College during the spring of 2005. Although I have come in contact with hundreds (probably thousands) of students, Pat stands out. He always had a smile and a kind greeting for me when he came into class. He was conscientious about his work, friendly towards his classmate, and a real ray of sunshine in a world that is often gray. I feel very fortunate to have crossed paths with such a joyous person and I am sorry that he is no longer among us. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hey buddy Pat, why does every day seem to get harder dealing with this? Please help give us the strength to somehow make it easier. I know you and Mom can make this happen. I keep hoping for my phone to ring (as it did at least every other day) and for you to tell me this is all a dream (nightmare). I can't believe how much I miss you (ok, I can believe it). It just doesn't seem real.
Love, Kevin.

Thank You Patrick.
For being that special loving cousin that showed up to every family function no matter what..For never getting mad at me or at anyone for that matter...For playing wiffle ball for hours with Brendan even if it rained...For telling me 18 times to keep my head down on the golf coarse...For making me laugh when I felt like crying..For not telling Peggy I crashed into Jimmy Carr's trash barrells with you on the back of my moped when I was 14 or 15 and you were only 3 maybe 4 years old.. For making everyone around you a better person and there were plenty of people around you..For making your Dad so proud to tell people that you were his son..For being as good to Jessica as good as she was to you..For being such a leader, an example not just for our kids but for us, your elders as well.
Thank you for everything over the last 25 years, they were the best years of my life.

Dear Mr. Forde, Kevin, Karen, Brian, Jackie and Jessica,
I am so, so sorry for the untimely and tragic loss of your Patrick. In the weeks ahead, I am sure that the magnitude and permanence of missing him will be unbearable. I know that your mom is in heaven and they are together again, but this world is a much worse place because they are not here with us. Patrick was the nicest and most gregarious little boy who grew into a wonderful, handsome young man with the brightest of futures. Pat loved his older brothers so much (Kevin--remember when Pat's hamster got lost inside the walls of your house on Chittick Road in 1988 and it took a few weeks to get it out?) Seeing the pictures of your whole family at Pat's christening and birth and the joy on your mother and father's face just reminds me of why the Fordes from Hyde Park are so impressive--you are a family that was raised with great love and deep caring for family and neighbors and I pray that the reciprocation of that love and caring back to you will help sustain you in this senseless loss. I am heartbroken for you and you will remain in my prayers.

My dear brother Patrick, I have been agonizing all week about how to express my feelings for you. It was just too hard. But after the past two days and all the things I have heard and read about you, I had a revelation. I know you were my best man and best friend in the world. But I wasn't aware just how many people's lives you have greatly positively influenced. I guess that was selfish on my part. Instead of reflecting on all the negative, I think how proud you would be of us if we acted as you did. If everyone you affected in life would make a small gesture that you would have done, how could this world not be a better place?
Karen and I love you and Jessica as much as always.
P.S. On a side note, Lucky says Thank you for walking him EVERY time you saw him and also for giving him a little relief from Brady that weeekend on the Cape.

I love you and may you rest in peace.

I was lucky enough have worked side by side with Pat for the past year at TD. I know thats just a blink of the eye as opposed to the time Jessica and his family had with him but he made a large impression on my life. I can truely say I'de never met as wonderful and as selfless a person as him. My work was my life until he reached out to me. He took me to my first Red Sox game this year, and my second. He helped me through a very difficult time this year as well and was always there for me. The last time i saw him he even gave me "Emily" his GPS because I had a meeting I didn't know how to get to. He called me right before he left for the game Monday just to ask how it went and tell me I was doing a great job. Thats the kind of person he was every day i knew him. Although as i saw today Pat had many friends and has touched many lives i considered him my best friend and loved him with all my heart. It's going to be a long time before i can go to work and not hope I'll see his smiling face walk back in that door and find out this was all terrible nightmare.
My heart goes out to Jessica who he always told me he loved and was so lucky to be with for all these years. He would also say how much he loved his father and would go right from a 10 hour day at work to go help with landscaping with a smile on his face.
I can only hope what he has taught me can make me half the person he was, you will be missed Pat

My heartfelt condolences go to the entire Forde family and Jessica. I met Patrick at the bank in Walpole.
I was new to the bank in Walpole and transferred my club's business from the Holliston branch to Walpole. I couldn't believe the welcoming atmosphere in the Walpole bank ...and I truly believe it was Pat's leadership that made it happen..not contrived leadership but truly genuine Patrick quality and sincere personality that shined throughout the entire bank. As the new Treasurer of my club he made my duties so easy. I am a dog trainer and Patrick loved to hear my dog stories and I loved telling him because he was so genuinely interested. He and Jessica were to go to Bass Pro in Foxboro this weekend to see our dog demonstration. I will dedicate our performance to him. I feel like I have known Patrick for years not just three months! Patrick Forde is what all people should be about.I have three sons and I cannot imagine what the Forde family is going through. My thoughts are with you Mr. Forde, Jessica and Patrick's brothers. The world has lost a truly knowledgeable and capable professional. God bless you all.

I remember senior year in Greek class, I had asked Pat if he would give me one of his senior pictures. He said he didn't have any more wallets to give me cause he was so popular. I was one of Pat's many teachers at Boston Latin School. He was a joy to have in class. Patrick was such a sincere and friendly person. He welcomed us so warmly to the Walpole TD BankNorth and took such a personal interest in our startup business, always ushering us into his office, that even after we closed on the business transaction and moved to the Cape, we came back to Walpole to conduct our business. He was just that kind of person; possessing a genuine magnetism. His warmth and friendliness made us feel like long-time acquaintances though we had met only a few months earlier. I am sorry to hear of his passing. He is too soon gone from us.
