MITCHELL, John F. Jr. Of Wellesley, October 26, 2008. Beloved husband of Frances -Marie (Connaughton) Mitchell. Son of the late Frank and Mae Mitchell. Brother of the late Paul Mitchell, Mary Allardyce, Ann Borges and Ellen Mitchell. Also survived by his two nieces, Marianne Small of North Easton and Cheryl Savignano of Berkley, MA. Funeral from the Henry J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 56 Washington St.(Rte 16) WELLESLEY HILLS, Thursday at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Evangelist Church, 9 Glen Rd. Wellesley Hills, at 10AM. Visiting hours, Wednesday, 4-7PM. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham. Mr. Mitchell was a graduate of Boston College, class of 1942, he was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis and a veteran of the US Army Air Corp, having served during WWII.
