I had the pleasure of working with Doug for 4 yrs in Peabody and knew him before that. He was the only manager that I ever worked with my whole 18 yrs in the company that I could sit down and not be afraid to say what was on my mind and know that he was listening and cared. I will miss you!

Dear Mrs. O'Gorman and Debby,
I am so saddened by the passing of such a good man. He has left us much too soon. Doug left his mark in this world through his recognition and praise of his associates for a job well done. His generosity of spirit was greatly appreciated especially when one's day was particularly difficult. I knew how much he gave and understood how he would go home "beat" by the end of the day. Well , now, he can relax in heaven. May God give you all of Doug's goodness to help you through this loss.

Doug made a great difference in my life, since the very first day I started working with him in Sudbury. He was a great manager and a wonderful friend. Trully a man with a nobel character. He was fun and I loved to listen to him telling me about his trips. I will never forget him.
My heart goes with the O'Gorman family at this sad time.

Doug surely will be missed at camp in Rangeley. He was always so happy there willing to help anyone out. He could not wait until Friday night for his pizza from the Red Onion.
