John and Ruth were our neighbors at Peters Pond Park during summer months. You couldn't ask for better neighbors. I am sorry I am just learning of this now. My condolances to the family.

Uncle John was a great man. Take comfort in knowing he is at peace now. Gin is probably talking his ear off by now.

Dear Sprague Family - Rodger and I were so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. Although we never met your Dad, listening to John talk about him and reading all of the beautiful tributes to him on this site, he was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. You are all in our thoughts and prayers today.

Sam, your Dad was a man of the highest integrity. I will always have a picture in my mind of him coaching the Red Sox Little League and of him on his Boston Police motorcycle.
