Jodi: Phyllis and I were truly saddened to learn of the sudden loss of your hero and best friend - your Dad, Tim. As you've shared your photos of him with us and others, we came to know that God blessed Tim with a loving, caring family, good friends and important work. How many of us can say that?
It's important that he died in the state of grace and that you and his other loved ones had a chance to be with him prior to his passing. The Funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi was indeed a "celebration" of his full life, with it's ups and downs, love and laughter.
You and your Dad were in our prayers at Mass this morning. Take heart, aim high and go on with your own generous spirit and many talents as Tim would wish for you. You are not alone. You are Tim and Eleanor Corcoran's child!
Keep in mind Christ's admonition to his disciples when they too faced difficult trials, "Be not afraid!"
Peace, Love & Good Health,
sharon

when I was a little girl you told me that I could be anything that I wanted to be. your confidence in me always pushed me alittle further. There has never been a moment in my life that I didnt think I could handle what was coming next. That has to be the greatest gift a father could ever give a child. I only hope I pass it on to my children. you will be missed ever single day we will never forget you. xoxox muffin

Tim
Each week I would ask you after each round if you were "satified" with your latest golf game. You always gave me a smile and a big "Yes"!! We all should learn how to enjoy life as you did.

Mr. Corcoran,
Sir, I didn't know you, but I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice-first for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and secondly for the citizens of Boston when you served with the BPD. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
