Evelyn DesRoches Obituary

Of Needham, died at home on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at the age of 104. May she rest in the peace of the Lord. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, C. Edward DesRoches, and her cherished daughter, Colette Hearn. Grateful for her life of love and devotion, her surviving children are: Edward DesRoches of Needham, Joan DesRoches of Needham, Priscilla Kelley of Millis, M. Evelyn Doherty of Wellesley and Dorothy Bond of Falmouth. She is also survived by an extended and loving family of sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visiting hours at the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM on Sunday, August 26 from 3-7 PM. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, August 27 at St. Joseph Church, Needham at 12 Noon. Burial St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Remembrances in Mother's memory to Boston Catholic Television, 34 Chestnut St., PO Box 9196, Watertown, MA 02471 or Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2042 Beacon St., Newton, MA 02468 would be appropriate and very much appreciated.
