I just read about Jan's untimely passing. I was saddened to hear of it and I want to express my condolences to his family. Off and on I worked with Jan at the VA for several years and I always found him to be a genial,very responsive and responsible individual. He will be missed.

I was sorry to hear that Jan had passed away. In my many years with the VA, he was always willing to help if I had a problem. My condolences to his family.

Jan had a lot of appreciative clients in Western Mass.. Many people who visited my office would remark about the great help they had received on the phone from a person whose name they could not pronounce. One person said he thought it was "Gretsky". Jan and I had a good laugh about that. Jan was a great help to me personally over the years, always going the extra mile. He is greatly missed. My condolences to his family.
