Naomi, please let me know if there is anything I can do during this diffult time. Although I never met Arthur, he obviously was a special person and loved by many.

I knew Arthur's family for many years. He always had a smile on his face. We shared many cups of coffee together after services at Cong. Beth Israel in Quincy. We lost touch when he sold the bicycle shop. I met him at Roche Bros. a few months ago and he came to me and hugged me. I will remember him always.

Carol and I will miss Arthur terribly. He was always fun to be around and was a kind and gentle person. His sense of humor was always present and he had a way of lighting up the room with his stories. In the many years that we knew Arthur, we never heard an unkind or harsh word from him. He was fun to be around and we'll miss his smile. He will be missed but never forgotten.

We are so very sorry for your loss. Arthur was my most favorite cousin. We didn't see each other very often but he was always with me.

To the Schatz family, may your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived. Arthur was such a wonderful man, and we are all deeply saddened by his passing. I will always carry the memory of Arthur with me, how could one forget what a true gentleman he was. “Real” men are difficult to find, but we all certainly viewed and admired Arthur for having those qualities. I am honored that I had the chance to know him. I am grateful for the times we shared when we went to "Dinner with John" as we called it. Arthur touched all of us with his compassion and kindness. He will be truly missed. I hope that you find peace and comfort in this difficult time knowing that Arthur made a difference in this world.

Arthur, you will be greatly missed, you had away about you that in this day and age is very rare to find. You had a pleasing personality, a kind heart and patience. A man of great strength and courage. Anyone that had the pleasure of having you as a friend was a better person and I'am glad to have become one. You will always be in my heart and prayers. Your co-worker and friend
