To Betty's Family,

I worked for Betty and Jack for 6 years as a teenager in the Penny Candy House. Those were the best years for my gaining maturity, learning about the working world, and developing a second family. I will always remember Betty's sense of humor, her great work ethic, her love of people and most of all, her awesome management of and dedication to two simultaneous businesses (the beauty parlor adjoined the candy house).
I will always love you Betty and Jack for taking me under your wings.
