Of Peabody, formerly of So. Yarmouth and Reading, Sept. 20, 2007, age 97. Beloved husband of the late Hazel M. (Mansley) Moore. Loving father of Sandra J. Bartlett and her husband Franklin of Burlington and Richard G. Moore, Jr. and his wife Betty of St. Mary's, GA. Brother of Marjorie Coleman of Natick. Brother of the late Robert A. and Alan W. Moore; Irene Gray and Hazel C. Moore. Grandfather of Caroline DiDonatis of North Reading, Philip Matonis of Northfield, OH, Richard G., III and Melissa Moore. Great grandfather of Sarah, Jennifer and Richard DiDonatis and Tonya Matonis. Funeral Service at the Union Congregational Church, 148 Haverhill St., No. Reading on Monday at 10 AM. Calling hours will be held at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow St., NORTH READING on Sunday from 4 to 7 PM. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery in Stow. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Retired Treasurer of Reading Savings Bank. I will always remember "Mr. Moore" as the Treasurer of Reading Savings Bank. He was such a gentlemen. I kept in touch with him through the years, and was saddened to read of his death. He's with his wife now, and that's how it should be. He was an awesome man, and each one of his family will always miss him. Cherish the memories and each day will be easier for you all. Godspeed to you and yours.
