To my family Connie, Debbie Dawn and Richard Josh and Kaitlyn: So sorry that I wasn't there for the funeral back in 2007, I think about bob all the time and I miss his smile, conversations when I came to visit. Bob was going to take me to show me his new home but unfortunately I never got back to see his home this he was so proud of. Miss you Bob and say hi to Aunt Mary who is there in heaven with you watching over you and the rest of us.

Having moved to Tennessee in 2006, I was out of touch with a lot of people/things and only recently learned of Bobby's passing. We were in the band together, but also the freshmen football team. My two biggest memories: football practice, and Bobby was considering quiting, thinking it too tough. I convinced him it was worth it and talked him out of it. Years later he thanked me for that day. The other memory...he once told me he didnt care for the nickname Bubba. I called him Bobby ever since.

Bob, two years ago today my whole world changed when you were taken from us. Too young, for sure, but we were not ready for you to go. I miss you a little more every day. I hear a song from the 80's and I smile thinking of how loud you'd play it in the car or someone says something and it reminds me of you. My life is definitely more empty without you in it.

Bob, it seems impossible that it has been almost 2 years since you left us. I don't think a day goes by that you are not in my thoughts at some point. I want you to know I could not have loved you more if were you my own son. You are still missed and will forever be missed by all that you have touched. Watch over Dad please. I just wanted to convey my deepest condolences to Bobby's family. Bobby and I played together at AIC and worked together during the summer's with a company called Earthscape. I have so many fond memories of those days and the people Jerry, Shawn, Paul, Curt, and of course Bobby. Just this past weekend, looking over some mementos that my wife who passed away in January, had put away. I came across a Certificate
awarded to us. Bubba was one of the Band officers who had signed it. I then thought of Bubba and all the wonderful good times all the kids had in the Band. We were Band parents always with them, and my wife always loved Bubba, a big wonderful kid.

I want to express my since condolences to the family & friends of Robert Castor (Bubba). In the short 2 years of knowing & playing football with him at AIC, I always thought highly of Bob. He had a great sense of humor & loved life and that is how I will remember him. I loved Bubba as if he were my own son. I will forever feel bad for not seeing him as often as I would have liked to.
