I met Earl & Betty Short in 1991 when they lived on Fisher Creek in Sylva NC. They were some of the nicest people I've ever met. For some reason I was thinking of them today 9/2/11 and thought I would google them and see if they still lived in Bradenton. How sad I am to see they have both passed. My deepest sympathy to the family I know they will be greatly missed. Lois Danner Sylva, NC.

Uncle Earl,

You were such a huge part of our family's lives for which we are so grateful. You and Aunt Betty helped and touched so many people and left a great impact in this world. As much as we will miss you, you are now with the love of your life which you have missed dearly and you are now both at peace. Godspeed to you both.
